Jus Now and LRS have a deep connection through the Trinbagonian percussion/musician fraternity. Jus Now and Laventille Rhythm Section recently worked together to develop a pioneering library for INDIGISOUNDS. LRS and Jus Now developed the first ever sample library that captures the unique engine room sound native to T&T. Available for Native Instrument’s KONTAKT DAW, it's an expansive library with every drum and recorded at various distances to allow producers to emulate the multilayered feeling that live engine rooms create.
Jus Now, Bunji Garlin and Jillionaire have made trendsetting waves in soca music separately and together; Bunji’s most recent trailblazing hits such as Savage and Truck on D Road were produced by the Jus Now team, while his EDM/mainstream breakout hits were shepherded by Jillionaire and the team at Mad Decent.
Lastly, Jus Now recently released their “Alone” EP with FEEL UP records, a record label founded by Jillionaire.
Incorporating a live performance/set with Bunji, LRS, Jus Now and Jillionaire would be logistically and politically feasible, allowing the experience to cover multiple levels of local and global culture and relevance.
